Charles Bernardi

Charles Bernardi is ESG Engagement and Operationalization Team Leader at Desjardins. His team is responsible for implementing sustainability strategies within the organization and engaging Desjardins Group’s employees in sustainability initiatives. A graduate of McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management, his career in the financial services industry has allowed him to develop expertise in areas such as ESG integration, private equity, fixed income securities, and responsible sourcing. Outside of his professional duties, Charles is a member of the Sustainable Finance Committee at Finance Montréal, member of the Montreal Climate Partnership’s Steering Committee, and the Chair of the Board of Directors at Québec Net Positif, an independent think tank dedicated to accelerating the transition to a low-carbon and net-positive economy.
